Serani Crowned Coast Kings in Penalty Thriller, Secures First National Slot Serani Secondary School emerged victorious in a dramatic penalty shootout to become the first boys’ school to qualify for the KSSSA 2025 National Games. The Coast Region Term Two finals, held at Mpeketoni Boys High School, saw Serani triumph over Tononoka Secondary School with a 5-3 penalty win after a tense 1-1 draw in regulation time. The match, which lived up to its billing, drew hundreds of spectators, creating an electric atmosphere from kick-off. Tononoka took the lead in the first half, but Serani equalized, forcing the game into penalties.
